Solo exhibition POP JAPAN at The Dugdale Centre, London. This was Sonoko's journey to rediscover her Japanese-Londoner identity. Publicity includes Guardian. The show was extended for further 2 months due to high demand.

Sonoko joined Old Vic New Voices in May 2014. Designing and making props for Housed (2014), Ages (2015) and Rises (2016).
October 2005 – May 2006: Artist in Residence Historic Royal Palaces (Kensington Palace, Tower of London, Hampton Court) - Selected by Palaces following concept presentation, project plan, budget and interview - Awarded bursary by Palaces to realise concept - Final Exhibition shown in all 5 Palaces and extended for 4 months - The art work for the Historic Royal Palaces was added to permanent collection in 2009.
September 2008 to April 2014: Brand character design & illustration for contemporary jeweller Anna Lou of London - my jewellery designs were sold in Selfridges and Topshop in Oxford Street, London http://www.annalouoflondon.com/
